Christopher is a 5th generation Oregonian (Portland and Bend). His parents, Brian & Rosemary were constantly involved in community service organizations and church activities that raised money for, or helped in charitable causes. Christopher earned his Eagle Scout rank during his 8th grade - Freshman year, learning and leading others during his path to Eagle. His junior year, he advocated for his cross-town rival high school to start an NJROTC program, where he served as the "Recreation & Social" Officer his senior year. After high school he enlisted in the Navy since color blindness disqualified him as an officer candidate. 

"Doogie" served on the Carl Vinson from 30Dec1995 to 17July1999 as an AZ for AIMD, his favorite time was the IM-3 Calibration Lab and multiple WOG days as a Golden Shellback!

After the Navy, he returned to Oregon, going on to college while working full time. For 23+ years his career focus has been on providing Social Services to the unemployed, at-risk youth, and persons that experience I/DD disabilities with challenging behaviors. One of his part time jobs all these years has been to provide security at bars, festivals, rodeos and music concerts. Later on, he and his parents together, developed and operated a family business producing Special Events during community holiday celebrations and athletic races (5k - 10k, Half - Full Marathon, Triathalon & overnight Team Relay events). 

Christopher is the proud father of Julianna, husband to Allison & step father to Sydney. He enjoys fishing, crabbing, hunting and camping when he is not raising money or volunteering for his fellow veterans, marine fisheries or their related political advocacy organizations.
